It’s a Picture Perfect Christmas for Evie

On Christmas Day, Lisa Hall just can’t wait to see her children’s eyes light up when they bound into the living room and open their presents under the Christmas tree on Christmas Day.

She said she and her husband, Ryan, take great pleasure in seeing their beautiful two-year-old daughter, Evie Claire, and four-year-old son, Jasper, so full of beans and bright eyed.

So too, Lisa and Ryan were absolutely thrilled to find out they were the winners of the Port Macquarie Independent’s 2012 Picture Perfect Competition.

Lisa, whose family resides in Port Macquarie, now has her very own keepsake front page of the Independent in this special Christmas edition, going to over 18,000 homes and businesses in the region.

So too, she has won a $300 voucher, thanks to our friends at Harvey Norman.

Harvey Norman fran-chisee Pat Slack-Smith said the spirit of giving at Christmas was what his business encapsulates, and hence he was more than happy to donate the $300 gift voucher.

When talking about the photo of Evie Claire, Lisa said, “This picture is very special to me and really sums up what Christmas is all about.

“Evie’s beautiful big smile is the reaction we have from her when we mention the word ‘Christmas’ and ‘Santa’.

“I get the most joy out of Christmas when I see children’s little faces light up and the enjoyment and giggles they have on Christmas.”

The Independent’s team sends out a big congratulations to Lisa.

We also wish you all a very merry Christmas and the happiest New Year.

Don’t be shy either!

We’d love to see some of your Chrissie pics from 2012.
