Police have released CCTV images of three men in relation to an assault in Port Macquarie last year.
In the early hours of Saturday, May 19, 2012, a 28-year-old man was seriously assaulted on Horton Street.
The man was allegedly ‘king hit’ leaving him with a serious head injury.
He was treated in hospital and receives on-going rehabilitation for his injuries.
Detectives from Mid North Coast Local Area Command have been investigating the incident and wish to interview the three males who might be able to assist.
The trio were captured on CCTV near where the assault occurred.

Port Macquarie Police Chief Inspector Shane Cribb said it was important we all remained vigilant and reported all crimes.
“Police need the people to report crimes soI can allocate the police resources to the areas where the crimes are occurring,” he said.
“Police regularly patrol the CBD and allocate additional resources to that location.
“It is not acceptable behaviour that local shop owners arrive at work to find there shop windows smashed.
“Coming into Easter period and school holidays, there will be an increase of police within the CBD area.
“Police doing foot patrols and pushbikes will be making extensive patrols of the CBD during the night and especially on weekends.”
