It’s only weeks ’til Christmas and not long now until Santa and his reindeers will be arriving in the region on Christmas Day, December 25.
You could add some extra Christmas cheer to your home this year, thanks to the Independent and our friends at Harvey Norman.
The Independent wants to give you the best Christmas present ever — your very own keepsake front page of the newspaper — and so much more!
And all you have to do is simply send us your favourite Chrissie photo.
One lucky family’s most treasured “spirit of Christmas” photo, from any year, will be run on the front page of the Independent in our special Christmas edition, going to over 18,000 homes and businesses in the region.
So too, the winning picture will see the family win a $300 voucher to spend at Harvey Norman!
It doesn’t have to be you in the pic — it could be your grandchildren or pets — whatever encapsulates Christmas the best in your own home and heart.
Harvey Norman franchisee Pat Slack-Smith said the spirit of giving at Christmas was what his business encapsulates, and hence he was more than happy to donate the $300 gift voucher.
“Christmas is about families and memories,” he said.
“Harvey Norman is the destination Australia heads to print their photos in-store and online.
“The competition is a perfect fit for us and we wish all who enter the best of luck and a very Merry Christmas to all.”
It’s so easy to enter. Simply email your favourite Christmas photo to Newsdesk@portmacquarieindependent.com.au to be in the running.
Tell us about the photo you have sent and who is in it and why it’s your favourite snap.
Please also ensure you include all of your contact details, including phone numbers and an address.
You can also drop in your picture (originals only) to our office in Williams St, to be scanned.
The competition closes at COB on Tuesday, December 15.
Winners will be notified by phone and no doubt you will see who it is in the Independent’s special Christmas edition.
So start sending those pictures through and make this year’s Christmas more memorable than ever!
