A MAN remains in a critical condition after his motorcycle and a car collided on the Pacific Highway north of Port Macquarie last week.
The crash happened about 6.30pm on Thursday, 18 April, at Cooperabung, about 30 kilometres north of Port Macquarie.
Police have been told both the motorcyclist and a 2002-model Toyota Corolla were travelling south when the collision happened.
The motorcyclist, a 59-year-old man from Port Macquarie, suffered serious internal and head injuries. The 57-year-old woman driving the Corolla escaped with minor injuries.
Both were taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital where the man is reported to be in a critical but stable condition.
The Mid North Coast Crash Investigation Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash and are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
