The Port Macquarie Independent office in William Street was victim to a random attack of self publicity, bordering on vandalism, on Friday night.
Promoters of an upcoming event stuck flyers for their cause over the entire glass casing of the front window of the Independent office.
“I nearly drove off the road when I drove past on Saturday…shock!” sales executive Rob Martin said.
The Independent would like to advise that such acts are not welcome at the newspaper site and will not lead to increased publicity under any circumstances.
