Residents will get a first-hand warning about sun safety this weekend.
SunSense will launch its UV Photobus in Port Macquarie on Saturday at the Town Green from 9am — 5pm as part of a free, roving skin check service that aims to uncover Australia’s hidden UV skin damage and measure the nation’s ‘SunSensibility’.
Two in three Australians are diagnosed with skin cancer before the age of 70.
SunSense is urging all Australians to get involved and find out their SunSensibility score as a first step in protecting against further hidden UV damage and helping to prevent skin cancer.
The UV skin consultation service is free to all Port Macquarie residents over the age of 16 in a bid to encourage real preventative skincare action.
