Broadband doc to talk shop

The benefits of high-speed broadband will be the hot topic at Port Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming business lunch on May 4.
The keynote speaker is Dr Tim Williams, a leading thinker on regeneration and community building.
Earlier this year, Dr Williams completed an independent study and White Paper: Connecting Communities; the impact of broadband on communities in the UK and its implications for Australia.
He will be presenting real life examples of the impact of high speed broadband on innovation, business opportunities, public services, democratic activities and regional economies and communities as a whole.
The lunch will be held at Zebu Restaurant, 12pm for a 12.30 start on Wednesday, May 4. Tickets can be booked online via
www.portchamber.com.au/calendar or by calling the Chamber office on 6583 4412.
