Locals are pumping away to help out the flood victims in Queensland – literally.
Last week resident Justin Loveday travelled to Brisbane to help pump water out of Southbank in Brisbane.
Brendan Boyd of TWT Concrete Pumping in Brisbane asked Justin, from Coastwide Pumping Port Macquarie, to join his team of five pumps.
The boys have been working around the clock pumping more than 500,000 litres per hour to clear the water from
multi-level car parks to free Brisbane of its millions of litres of trapped water.
