Market shines despite rain

CAPTIONS – All pictures: FAB PHOTOS
Market1: Drum circle facilitator Chris Baker was at peace with the markets.
Market2: Blacksmith artist Doug Moseley with his stall.
Market3: Robert Bugden showed off some of his pieces to the public.
Market4: Meridith Batter from Simply Splendid photography attracted plenty of interest.
Market5: Artist Fran Barratt painted a picture of the day.

Heavy rain cleared in time to allow people to flock to the artists’ market at Cassegrain Winery on Sunday.
Unfortunately, for the fourth time this year, the ground was too wet for the stalls to be held in the gardens, so they were shifted inside, despite rays of sunsine.
But that didn’t stop dozens of stallholders from setting up shop as visitors searched for a bargain.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, more than 200 millimetres of rain fell on Port Macquarie on Friday and Saturday.
Most sporting matches were called off, while there were reports of minor flooding and some roads were temporarily closed.
More rain is predicted this weekend.
