TABLE tennis is growing in popularity at Port Macquarie High School, with increasing numbers taking the game as a school sport option on Wednesdays.
This follows the success of the boys’ team, which reached the state finals in Sydney last year.
The same boys are back this year and have already begun their quest for state gold.
They achieved another great result at Coffs Harbour recently in the Combined High Schools table tennis knockout competition.
Competing against Coffs Harbour Senior College on their home turf, the boys dominated, winning all seven games.
