Environmentally concerned residents attended a public forum featuring one of Australia’s most distinguished economists and the government’s chief adviser on climate change, Professor Ross Garnaut.
Professor Garnaut talked about his final climate change report to the Prime Minister, and answered questions from residents.
Professor Garnaut is the independent adviser to the Multi-party Climate Change Committee.
Independent Lyne MP Rob Oakeshott said the forum was valuable to residents concerned about the environment.
