Carols by the sea

Kingscliff Primary School's School Spectacular dancers entertain the crowd at Kingscliff carols.

KINGSCLIFF was out in-force on Thursday night for the annual Lions Club of Kingscliff Carols by the Coast.
“We were thrilled with the show – I think it’s probably the best we’ve done,” organiser Gillian Leonard said.
“The crowd was not what we’d hoped for but with so many other carols nights – there is only so much money that mums and dad have – and free nights.
“However, the crowd was very supportive and responsive – and all our singers were really great.
“What I really love about our carols night is that it is such a lovely warm community event … I had a woman call me in the morning to ask if it was still on. She said she loves ours because of the feeling that it evokes – and she comes with her children from Bilambil. So that was nice.
“Comments heard round after the show were all very positive.”
