TWIN TOWNS Friends Association have celebrated their annual Christmas lunch at the Tweed Heads Bowls Club.
More than 200 people attended the function to celebrate the festive season and to acknowledge the great work that Twin Towns Friends achieve in our community.
“Congratulations to the co-ordinator Doreen Welsh and all the Twin Town Friends volunteers who generously give their time to make a difference in the lives of so many seniors in our area,” Member for Richmond Justine Elliott said.
Twin Towns Friends is a voluntary organisation that provides friendship and social interaction for isolated senior citizens with weekly home visits and outings.
