Don’t whine - dine and meet others

A community-based organisation has put out the call for more men to become successful in introducing singles in the Hastings.
8 For Dinner has been set up to break down the barriers of singletons by helping residents meet likeminded people.
“The idea consists of four single men and four single women meeting for dinner at a restaurant,” organiser Lee said.
“No need to worry about the awkwardness of blind dates as there are seven other people in the same boat.
“There is no fee to join the dinners; the only costs are your own meal and drinks.
“It is hard to get the opportunity to meet single people in this area and this is a simple, safe way for people to meet significant others without having to travel to more populated areas.
“8 For Dinner has a minimum age of 25 and there is no maximum age.
“Each table consists of eight people around the same age with similar interests.
“All the participants need do is contact 8 for Dinner fill out the form (which is used to match people up on the tables), turn up on the night, have a lovely meal and enjoy meeting others as friends or more.
“Person’s particulars are confidential and are not forwarded on to other participants.”
