On Sunday, September 23, the Port Macquarie Heritage Car Club will be staging their 13th annual Motorfest.
Motorfest is a static display that in the past has fielded over 160 cars and this year promises to be just as good. Cars will be assembling at Westport Park and have been invited from as far afield as Coffs Harbour in the north to Forster in the south as well as all points in between, plus five other local clubs.
It is anticipated that cars will be shown representing 100 years of motoring, 1912 to 2012 with the emphasis being on vehicles pre-1982.
Cars will be displayed in categories according to their decade of manufacture, with additional categories for sports cars, hot-rods, commercials, motorbikes and vehicles of special interest.
Admission to view is FREE from 10am to 2pm and anyone with an ‘interesting’ car is invited to display from 8am for a cost of just $10, which will include morning tea.
