This is an opportunity to see the Sydney Symphony brass section as they emerge from behind the orchestra in what promises to be an intimate performance, which will showcase the sheer brilliance of this section. They will play works from high Renaissance to high Romanticism as well as music of our own time.
Enjoy the spine tingling CanzonSeptimi by Gabrieli, a stunning waltz suite by Richard Strauss and the spectacular and mesmerising arrangement by Elgar Howarth of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.
