Stylistically Aussie-Swedish duo Nick and Liesl cover quite a range; from stripped-back and intimate folk to alternative, pop and soul; but the voices and the harmonies remain throughout, making their sound instantly recognisable.
2011 saw them tour Australia and Europe with their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Feather’. Only days after returning from overseas they wowed crowds at the 2011/2012 Woodford Folk Festival.
It is easy to connect with their light sounds of guitar and piano blended with thoughtful and poetic lyrics.
Their sound is a beautiful combination of earthy, life affirming lyrics, dreamy harmonies and a mixture of guitar and piano driven songs.
They have been likened to Angus & Julia Stone and The Waifs, and have gained recognition as a brilliant live act touring across the country and overseas.
