Glasshouse audiences had an experience from the ‘Deepblue’ recently.
The group, Deepblue Orchestra, is unlike anything experienced before, with moving images, moving music, no conductor, no music stands and most importantly, moving performances.
Port Macquarie young string players called ‘Youngblue’ played under the auspice of Lesley Gray-Thompson whose dedication and love for her music and students made it a huge success.
The Youngblue group is made up of talented students from our local schools who play violin and cello.
In total, there were 21 students.
All the string players and their parents would like to thank Lesley for a wonderful experience which included a workshop and performance on stage playing ‘I have a dream’ with ‘Deepblue Orchestra’.
