Abbott will say whatever it suits him to say

The International Monetary Fund announced that the Australian economy is the strongest in the developed world after China. (Sky Television 17-4). Tony Abbott immediately pronounced our economy to be weak. Clearly the economy can sustain carbon tax and equally clearly Abbott will say whatever it suits him to say.
When taxpayers notice after July one that carbon tax is not deducted from their pay packets, it will be a moment of truth for Abbott. When compensation for increased consumer costs starts to flow, just who is the deceiver will become apparent. What does Abbott do then? He will become even more shrill and strident as hopefully his numbers tumble.
Conservatives opposed the rounding of the wheel because greater speed would cause accidents. They were right, but did they address the issue.
The issue is a new economy, not nitpicking about the process. Turnbull saw it and so did Abbott, but Abbott chose to exploit the conservatism of Australians to make himself Prime Minister.
Why do Armidale conservatives waste ink calling this leadership. It is Abbott not Gillard who is in denial. As his ploy unravels this will become clearer.
Why do conservatives accept the existence of God on no evidence whatever, then deny man made climate change against the strongest of evidence including that of Professor Ian Chubb the Australian Chief Scientist.

John Bergin,
Armidale
