The Pope’s butler stole documents in an attempt to expose corruption, and received 18 months jail for his trouble. The papers say that the Pope will issue a pardon. Sounds like “big daddy” is above Italian law.
The paedophile problem in the Roman Catholic Church has raised its ugly head again.
There is supposed to be a police investigation into massive paedophile activity at the former Catholic home for boys. Dozens of men have come forward to testify about their sexual and other abuse at Boystown.
There is a Government enquiry into the shocking child sex abuse in the Victorian Catholic Church. This enquiry was partially investigated by Mrs Chrissie Foster, who wrote the book: “Hell on the Way to Heaven”. The book tells the horrific story of her two young daughters who were violated by a paedophile priest. The paedophile, now deceased, abused children for many years. One of Mrs Foster’s daughters committed suicide.
Mrs Foster and her husband, along with other sex abuse victims, received little or no sympathy from the hierarchy of the Catholic Church. This included, the now, Cardinal Pell.
The Church has paid compensation to the parents of victims. This could be called “hush” money. This so-called Christian Church is doomed! All who support it should leave and find the Biblical Jesus.
