POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a road rage incident on the Western Hwy, Caroline Springs which occurred around 3.10pm on 22 January.
A 50-year-old male victim was travelling Melbourne bound when he swerved to avoid an object on the road.
His actions led to an altercation with the male driver of a White Holden Commodore Sedan who forced the victim to stop.
The victim was assaulted and received minor bruising and abrasions.
Several other vehicles slowed but none stopped.
Police would like to speak with anyone who may be able to assist in this investigation.
