CAROLINE Springs residents will soon be treated to a fun day out when WestWaters hosts its monthly market day.
The market will offer a range of speciality items from local businesses and will provide an opportunity for shoppers to enjoy a selection of products at affordable prices.
One resident looking forward to the day is local mum of three and businesswoman Shannon Lake, who will soon launch an online clothing and accessories trade.
Shannon said the market would offer small businesses like hers a chance to get their products out into the market and create a name for themselves.
She said it would also bring the community together.
“Caroline Springs has a real community feel … markets always bring people together. It will be a fun day out,” she said.
The self-confessed fashionista said having her own business and being able to market it at local events meant she could still enjoy staying at home with her young family, while also enjoying being in the workforce.
The first market will be held at WestWaters Hotel and Entertainment Complex this Sunday from 11.30am to 2.30pm. There will be free entertainment for children from 11:30am.
