Bikie gangs feel the heat

In other news, police intercepted a vehicle on Ferris Rd and drugs and a taser were discovered during the search.
A 25-year-old Melton man was arrested and charged with possessing a drug of dependence, possessing a prescribed weapon and driving while suspended.
Meanwhile, on 13 October police intercepted a 26-year-old Exford man driving away from the Woodgrove Shopping Centre development site. The man was in possession of building supplies and tools and was charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft. He will appear at Bacchus Marsh Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
And children from Toolern Vale Primary School were left devastated when callous thieves broke into their school somewhere between 5pm on 14 October and 7.30am 15 October and stole about $10,000 worth of information technology equipment. The items stolen include an Apple iPad, a personal computer and a notebook computer.
Thefts at construction sites continue to be a concern for police and residents with two incidents of residential water meter thefts occurring earlier this month. This time thieves targeted homes in Oakbank Drive, Melton West and a newly constructed house in Seed St, Kurunjang.
Detective Senior Sergeant Barry Jenks said these thefts continued to be an issue across Melbourne’s West and police were hopeful of receiving information from the public which may assist in identifying offenders.
