Splash of culture

PUPILS at the Albion North Primary School celebrated Cultural Diversity Week last Wednesday. Grade Prep pupils Leo, Isabella, Caitlyn and Marielle took part in a water-carrying exercise as they explored cultural activities during lessons. The school, which is home to children from more than 20 different cultural backgrounds, also held a multicultural lunch to share in different types of food provided by the children and their families. Pupils also took part in the ‘Just Like Me’ educational program run by International Needs Australia which aims to make children aware of the similarities and differences between our nation and impoverished countries. 95546 Picture: JOE MASTROIANNI
