BRIMBANK City Council will launch a Brimbank Ideas Day next month in a bid to broaden council’s existing community consultation and engagement approach.
The Brimbank Ideas Day, on Monday 8 November, will run in addition to the council’s Local Area Forums, Listening Posts and other community engagement opportunities across the municipality.
Brimbank Council said the day was part of the administrators’ commitment to ensure there is close consultation with residents on issues that concern them, whether they are municipal wide or local area matters.
Chief Executive Officer Nick Foa said these meetings would give people in the community an opportunity to discuss their views.
