DANIELLE Barclay enjoys the creative outlet working with mosaic and ceramic tiles provide her.
The talented artist hosts workshops at the Deer Park Hunt Club each week and she encourages Brimbank residents to get involved and find their imaginative side.
Ms Barclay said the course was ideal for beginners and those looking for an interesting hobby.
She said despite what people believed, everyone had an artistic side to them it was just a matter of finding the right channel.
“It’s easy, it’s only limited to your imagination,” Ms Barclay said.
“I think everyone has a creative style, they just have to find the right medium.
“And then their imagination starts flowering. It’s good for the soul.” Describing it as “the best job in the world”, Ms Barclay said she often had students come back year after year.
She said often people had to get out of the house and away from any distractions to really focus their energy on pieces and that is why so many people did the course. “I get to share my knowledge with other people and watch their creativity blossom.”
The mosaic and ceramic tile workshops are held every Tuesday evening from 7pm to 9pm at the Deer Park Hunt Club.
