STAR News Group is the media sponsor for the 2011 Melton Business Excellence Awards.
Now in its fifth year, the awards are an opportunity for businesses to showcase themselves to the Melton community and beyond and be assessed by a panel of experienced judges, all business professionals and experts in their fields.
Melton mayor Justin Mammarella said the awards rewarded the “outstanding contribution that business makes to our local community, economy and environment”.
The council has introduced a new streamlined nomination process for entrants, which involves answering four simple questions, making it easier than ever to enter a business in the prestigious awards.
“We welcome Star Newspaper as our official media sponsor of the 2011 Business Excellence Awards and acknowledge their support of local business,” Mayor Mammarella said.
Nominations for the awards will close on 25 February next year, with finalists notified by 4 March next year.
Winners will be announced at the Melton Business Excellence Awards Presentation Gala on Friday 29 April next year, at the Witchmount Estate Winery in Rockbank.
All business owners and operators considering entering the 2011 Melton Business Excellence Awards have been invited to a workshop to give their business an upper-hand.
