A KEILOR East woman will face court after being charged with running an illegal brothel.
Australian Federal Police, members of the Moonee Valley Tasking Unit, along with officers from the Department of Immigration and council, swooped on an unlicensed brothel in Pascoe Vale Rd, Moonee Ponds at about 11am last Tuesday.
They arrested a 47-year-old woman accused of running the brothel and charged her with a range of offences, including living off the earnings of prostitution and benefitting from the proceeds of crime.
She was bailed to appear in the Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court on 24 February.
