A MOTORIST had a lucky escape last week after his vehicle ploughed into a house on McIntyre Rd in Sunshine. The driver crashed into the brick fence after a truck allegedly cut him off while travelling on the busy main road.
No one was injured in the incident. Tow truck driver Marcus Zukanovic, who arrived on the scene shortly after the accident, said it was fortunate there were no pedestrians walking on the footpath and in the front garden or there could have been a tragic outcome.
Mr Zukanovic said the Sunshine company he worked for was called out to at least 100 jobs a month where motorists were involved in accidents ranging from overturned vehicles to more serious incidents.
