A STRING of run-outs prevented Point Cook from producing a more competitive total but it still posted a defendable score of 149 against Wyndham Vale in round 10 of the Williamstown and District Cricket Association on Saturday.
Sultan Ahmed top scored for Point Cook with 41, while opener Stephen Luedi (12), Leigh Robinson (2), Troy Semmens (2) and Jason Denton (17) were all run out.
Wyndham Vale dismissed Point Cook in the final over and will start the run chase this Saturday.
The home side is sitting in fifth on the ladder, three points ahead of Point Cook.
