The man was travelling north approaching Furlong Rd on 22 January when he lost control of the car and spun sideways, crashing into the back of another car, which collided with a concrete barrier. The car then rolled numerous times, knocking over a light pole before landing upside down.
Four passengers in the car were treated for minor injuries, while a further three people, including an 18-month-old baby were also injured.
The man was taken to the Sunshine Police Station where he was found to be intoxicated. He was charged with a range of driving offences and is set to face court.
