SUPERHEROES, snakes and carnival clowns converged on Saturday when all of Brimbank came out to play for the city’s annual festival.
Jackie, Julie and Amanda, top left, from The Good Shepherd Youth Service donned their magic boots and capes while three-year-old tots Abby and Addison, above centre, cooled down with an ice-cream cone.
Tadhg and Nathaniel, above right, slithered their way to the Snake Busters pavilion but 10-year-old Remi, above left, preferred to try her luck on the carnival games. More than 25,000 people attended the festival which was held between 10am – 5pm on Sunshine’s Hampshire Rd.
The festival also included performances, street theatre, children’s activities, food and craft stalls and a street parade.
