ST THERESA’S Primary School staff and students are looking forward to celebrating the school’s 60th anniversary next month.
They are inviting members of the tight-knit Albion community to take part in the event.
The school is also calling on past pupils to donate any memorabilia they may have for the special day.
An integral part of the small community, St Theresa’s parish will commemorate its anniversary on 28 August with a Mass and lunch afterwards.
Principal Rob Costin said very little historical material of the parish and school’s early years had been retained and he hoped members of the community had old photographs, articles and any other memorabilia they could pass on.
Mr Costin said all contributions would be kept safe and returned to its owners immediately after the celebrations. Anyone with these items can contact the school on 9311 9070 or alternatively by email at principal@stalbion.catholic.edu.au.
