SIX people have been arrested for drug trafficking, following raids in St Albans earlier this month.
Keilor Downs police executed warrants at two premises in Harmon Ave and Adelaide St on Tuesday 9 August, following a two-week investigation into heroin trafficking in St Albans and Sunshine.
Four men and two women were arrested during the raids, and taken to the Keilor Downs police station for questioning about their alleged involvement in the local drug trade.
A 41-year-old man and a 40-year-old man, charged with drug trafficking, appeared in the Sunshine Magistrates’ court.
Meanwhile, two 37-year-old St Albans men were charged with trafficking, and bailed while a 37-year-old Deer Park woman and a 41-year-old St Albans woman were charged with possession and also bailed.
