A TEENAGER suffered a fracture and cuts in an apparent assault in Sunshine last week.
Advanced life support paramedics from Sunshine were called to Hampshire Rd, outside the library, just before 5pm last Tuesday.
Paramedic Jedda McGlinchey said an 18-year-old man was injured.
“The man suffered a deep cut and fracture to his arm in the assault,” Ms McGlinchey said.
“We rinsed the wound, so we could assess how serious the injury was.
“A pad and bandage were then used to control the bleeding and we put the man’s arm in a splint.”
The man was given pain relief, and was taken to Sunshine Hospital in a stable condition.
