DETECTIVES are on the hunt for a gunman, who shot at a car in Keilor Downs earlier this month.
Witnesses say a group of suspicious people was seen standing outside a house in Gidgee Court, when the single shot was fired into a car parked in the driveway around 11pm on Monday 8 August.
Police believe a shotgun was used in the attack.
Detective Senior Sergeant Tim O’Connor from the Keilor Downs Criminal Investigation Unit told Star police had yet to establish a motive for the shooting.
No one was in the car at the time, and no one was hurt during the incident, Detective Sen Sgt O’Connor said.
Police are seeking witnesses who may have seen the shooting.
