A DRUNK Tullamarine driver crashed in to another car at more than 120km/h over the speed limit on the weekend.
The woman is expected to be charged with various traffic offences after she was caught speeding on CityLink with a blood alcohol reading of 0.136 per cent on Sunday night.
Fawkner Highway Patrol police alleged that the 20-year-old driver was travelling at 160km/h in a 40km/h section of the freeway, in between Moreland and Brunswick roads, when she collided with the back-end of another vehicle about 11.30pm.
Police breath tested the woman and she blew 0.136 per cent. One of the occupants in the vehicle, a 17-year-old also from Tullamarine, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
No one in the other car was injured in the collision. The female driver is expected to be charged on summons with conduct endangering life, recklessly cause serious injury, speed dangerous, drink driving and other traffic related offences.
