Spring soaking

WHEN wild weather hit Melbourne last Wednesday, Caroline Springs resident Simon Jakovac snapped stunning photographs of the storms rolling across the West. The talented photographer and his sister ventured onto their rooftop to watch the rain come down, where Mr Jakovac also took several photos of black clouds filling the skies above Melton. There were reports of damaged roofs and fallen trees across Brimbank when the storms hit on Wednesday evening, and some flights at Tullamarine airport were delayed, due to the ferocity of the weather. VicRoads also asked motorists across the West to be careful in traffic, as several streets were subjected to minor flooding. 73398 Picture: SIMON JAKOVACWHEN wild weather hit Melbourne last Wednesday, Caroline Springs resident Simon Jakovac snapped stunning photographs of the storms rolling across the West.
