A HAMMER-WIELDING duo on scooters robbed a young man in St Albans last week.
A 20-year-old St Albans man was riding his bike along Adelaide St at around 1.40pm when a Caucasian man on a scooter rode into him.
The victim was forced to stop and was approached by a man of African appearance waving a hammer and threatening the victim.
The Caucasian man then demanded cash from the victim, who handed it over.
The two offenders were last seen fleeing east along Adelaide St.
The victim was unharmed.
