PRIME Minister Julia Gillard made a surprise appearance in Caroline Springs last week to officially open the new electorate office of Federal MP Brendan O’Connor. The PM and Mr O’Connor celebrated the opening with speeches and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Ms Gillard was delighted to meet a number of key community figures and local business owners at the opening event.
