A MAN died in an early morning house fire in St Albans yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the house on Grantham Parade just before 4am.
The man, who died at the scene, had not been identified as Star went to print.
Two other people were sent to hospital with smoke inhalation and minor burns.
The cause of the fire is not known and police are examining the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information about the fire is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
