Alert cops arrest teen crims

IT WAS a case of right place, right time for Brimbank police as they nabbed a pair of would be thieves in the act last week.
Two young males have been charged after they allegedly tried to rob a cyclist in Sunshine last Tuesday night.
Investigators from the Brimbank Tasking Unit were conducting an operation around the Sunshine CBD when the incident occurred at the intersection of Hampshire Rd and McDonald Lane shortly before 11.30pm.
As a result, a 17-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy, both from St Albans, have been charged with robbery and assault.
They appeared at a children’s court last Wednesday. Anyone who witnessed the incident can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
