A DEER Park service station has been robbed by a man wearing underpants on his head.
The uniquely-garbed male offender entered the store, on the corner of Ballarat Rd and Robinsons Rd, at around 12.30am on Friday 15 February.
He approached the shop counter, produced a knife and demanded cash.
The cocky robber took cash from the fuel depot attendant, before also threatening a customer and stealing his wallet.
Investigators have been told that the man left the store still waering the underwear on his head – and was last seen heading north on Robinsons Rd.
The offender was described as having an African appearance and at the time of the offence was wearing a light blue jumper, black pants with stripes, camel coloured shoes with black laces – and a pair of black underpants.
No-one was injured during the armed robbery.
It remains unknown what happened to the undergarments after the crime.
