PUPILS at Parkwood Green Primary School in Hillside will soon be literally turning over a new page.
The school is taking part in the 2013 Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge.
The challenge has been designed to encourage children from kindergarten to Year 10 to read books at home and at school.
Participants must read a certain number of books from a prescribed list, as well as some of their own choice, by September this year.
Prep students are required to read at least 30 books as part of the challenge and Grade 6 pupils are required to read a minimum of 15 books. 97740 Picture: DAMJAN JANEVSKI
