Attempted abduction: witnesses wanted

POLICE have appealed for anyone who witnessed the attempted abduction of a teenage girl in Sunshine on 26 September to come forward.
Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after the 19-year-old, who was waiting for a bus on Monash St, noticed a dark-coloured hatchback drive slowly past her about 7.30pm.
The same car then drove past her again before it stopped in the middle of the road.
The male driver allegedly got out of the vehicle and approached the victim, attempting to drag her towards the car.
She resisted his efforts and screamed, causing the man to let go and get back into the vehicle before driving off,
Police have been told that during the incident, the offending vehicle was blocking the east-bound lane of Monash St.
Investigators are keen to speak to the drivers of two cars who were in the area at the time of the incident.
The offender was described Asian in appearance, aged in his mid-30s to 40s, about 170cm tall with short black, straight hair and a black moustache.
He was wearing a black suit jacket and dark pants.
