Police seek pants man

POLICE have appealed for public help to solve a series of thefts from hardware stores across the West which occurred between 18 and 30 August this year.
The first incident happened on at a shop in Millers Rd, Altona North store about 1pm.
A man allegedly removed a drill from its box and placed it down his pants, leaving the store in a blue Holden Commodore sedan.
Socket sets, drills, battery chargers and a saw were among other items which have been stolen during similar incidents at stores in Caroline Springs, Sunshine, Taylors Lakes and Hoppers Crossing.
Police believe two Caucasian men have been involved in the thefts.
One man has been described as around 175 cm tall, with medium build, thin face and short, spiky black hair.
He walked with a distinctive wobble and shoulder movement.
The other man was around 185cm tall with a thin build.
