MINI masterchefs from Albion North Primary School, including Rohan and Sienna, cooked up a tasty meal for a good cause last week. Volunteers, staff and students from the school took part in the annual UnitingCare Pancake Day to fundraise for programs which help homeless people. Teacher Sharna De Brincat said while Pancake Day was a time for fun, serious issues underpinned the event. “This year all money raised directly assists vital UnitingCare programs and services helping people experiencing homelessness or on the brink of financial crisis,” she said.
