SCHOOLS across Brimbank celebrated Harmony Day last week with students embracing multicultural diversity in the community. St Albans Primary School students dressed in traditional outfits which represented their different cultural and religious backgrounds. The colourful display of costumes was enjoyed by the whole school community at a special assembly last Wednesday. School librarian Lourdes Ricardo-Di Maria said students represented over 30 different nationalities. They also cooked up special dishes originating from the different countries across the world including pizzas and lamingtons.
