Cops control party

THE CBD’S crowd control units and police dog squad were called after fights broke out at a 16th birthday party in Sunshine West.
A party of around 30 guests was in progress on Saturday 28 January at a Morrison Crescent home. At midnight numbers swelled to more than 60 revellers after word of the party spread via social networking.
Eleven police units arrived after fights broke out. Police were able to close down the party and clear the streets. During the melee a vehicle was damaged, a stolen car was discovered nearby and three girls were arrested in relation to offences including drunkenness and indecent language.
