JENNY Viney never leaves home without her sketchpad.
The western suburbs artist knows that a great oil or pastel painting may be just around the corner.
The monthly Substation’s Artists’ Market in Newport is where the Keilor Downs resident shows her wares.
Ms Viney is a regular stallholder and said the market offered art enthusiasts the chance to purchase original pieces, many of which are inspired by the surrounding landscape.
The Substation Artist Market features more than 40 stalls of local and regional artists selling and demonstrating their work. It takes place on the first Saturday of each month.
